sounds like u need to replace the on / off switch the start switch is defective

It may be the centrifugal switch on the motor. The push button starts the motor and as the motor spins up to speed the centrifugal switch closes to keep the motor running. Hope this helps.

The seal in ccircuit for run usually goes through a switch in the motor, whitch if it sticks or the switch goes bad, it wont stay running.

in the control board you should have a motor relay and a heat relay,they are the same part you can swap it out with the heat relay to see if that's your problem or you have an even heat board in there that's bad,next time send model number

there is a holding contact at the motor wiring, check the schematics and trace that holding contact. it should hold the motor running as soon as it starts.

the centrifical switch on the main motor is not engageing you can take the dryer apart and clean it its on the motor shaft where the pully is but some times you have to replace the motor if the run windings are bad
