Frigidaire Gallery microwave. The internal light stays on and internal fan stays on when the door is closed.

Try cutting the power to it for 15 minutes to effect a power reset to the mainboard.

It is still does it, you need a service call or a new one. It is a known issue.

Microwave seems to run, but won't heat.

We have a similar problem! It sounds like a problem with the microswitch inside the unit that the door is suppose to engage when closed. If not engaged properly, it will not cook. We had the switch replaced last March but it has started acting up again. We can press in on the door and/or lift it slightly and it will cook. Try putting time on the counter and hit start. It the word "cook" appears then try moving the door slightly and see if the turntable starts turning. If not, then you may have a more serious problem. Good luck!

Sound different and does not heat with full force

the fan is not working. it is necessary for the fan to run to cool the magnetron tube. do not use till repaired as prolonged lack of cooling will destroy tube

Does everything but heat food.

Sounds like the magnatron tube or it's fuse.

Frigidaire Professional series microwave won't heat

The most likely problem is the magnetron. Check your warranty in owners manual, I believe you have five year warranty on magnetron.
