I own a Ir 5000 and i just started getting "tire tracks" on my copies and prints. They show up about the middle of the page running left to right on a portrait type document

Try to clean corona wires, pick up, feed and separation rollers, check drum cleaning blade and fixing assy.If the tracks are white, check also the toner unit

My ir 400 gives a white spot

something could be blocking the primary chargeing corona wires/roller. i see it a lot on the ir 5000 when the primary corona assmbly cleaning pads get stuck half way through the cleaning cycle.

Hello :

Check the ink case first . If it's not empty then pull it out and shake it strong [ not so strong ] . Then take a brush and wipe it . After that take a hair dryer and focus cold air on it for 5 minutes .

I have Canon IR 400 photocopier. My problem is -

This not really a problem. Canon Copiers have various counters that track the counts of Various sized papers. Long, short and the like. The only counter that really matters in the 101 or total counter. This the counter that tracks every piece of paper that goes through the copier. This is the counter used to track copy usage. If you have a service contract this the counter the dealership will use to track copies for billing. Ignore anything but the total counter.

The IR 5000 does not have a port to connect to the LAN

You will need to add Print Option to the machine first, then upgrade to network firmware on the hard drive of the copier.

You need model as your daily output requirement
All models are heavy duty.
you can select any one for upto 10,000 print or copy per day or for 20,000 & up print/copy select ir 5075

Dose it do it when you use it as just a copier? I would have to say that the problem lies with in your network some where. Call your IT person.....
