Make sure physical cables are plugged in correctly from speaker to audio ports. Check audio driver if installed, if not you can download the driver from the dell website:support.dell.com.If driver is propely installed check sound/volume settings, make sure nothing is set to mute...Hope this helps...Cheers!!!

If you can enter the BOIS (setup menu) then your computer is working, just waiting for a device to boot from.

if you are not getting no sound, from the computer and you have checked all the hardware settings. The problem could be that you are missing drivers for windows sound devices . You can try downloading and installing the drivers from the following link
Not without major case modifications. Dell uses Dell specific rather than industry standard motherboards on all their systems except the newest XPS line. Sorry.
