I just bought a new computer with Windows 7 and cannot get my Professional Plus to install. Any ideas?

Actually 3D will run on Win.7 but since you don't have that either, it's neither here nor there for you. You can partition your hard drive and install Windows XP on the partition, then install your older Customising software on the partition. You need to boot up to the partition every time you want to use it though.

I hate to tell you....it's software upgrade time. You need 4D or later to run on "7"

Sadly the links on that website aren't working :( I've emailed a request to software support, hopefully they will help me without having to pay for updated software.

Nope. your choices are as follows.
1. have your computer partitioned with Windows 95 and Windows 7
2. buy a second hand computer with the older windows version.
3. Buy the new version of the software.

3D can be made to work with Windows 7 - I have it working just fine on my 64-bit Win.7. Go to http://www.sewmuch4retirement.com/tips.html
Tip No.4 from the top is for you - these are the instructions I followed and they worked perfectly. You do need to be sure you have the latest version of 3D - it's 7.25 I believe.
