Latitude D600 PC Notebook: i have dell latitude D630 laptop when i turn on...

I have dell latitude D630 laptopwhen i turn on the laptop i can see the bluetooth light pops up once and then it disappears. I dont know how to activate the bluetooth in my laptop. Please guide me to activate the bluetooth in my laptop

Hi,

Do you have the drivers and software installed for the bluetooth module - you need to make sure that you have the correct Dell package installed in order for it to be registered.

Have you also checked under the computer device manager - does the bluetooth device show there?

I would also check in the BIOS to ensure that the bluetooth module is showing there and is set to enabled.

Dell latitude d630 forgot bios password

Go to Dell support and download the latest BIOS revision. When you flash the bios it should wipe out the password. The second option is not as appealing.... open up the laptop and remove the CMOS battery for 30 seconds. This is much easier on a desktop, but a proven solution if there is no other way.
