What is this device 801e 1101 used for?

Its a high def TV tuner for your computer. If you don't have the stock stick antenna you can use your old one on your roof or rabbit ears. Free TV! I have one and love it. You will need to go to Pinnacle's site for the drivers and software (slow to load but worth it). If they don't, I have the disk with the key code and could try to send a copy. You might have found your solution by now (55 days later). If so, pretty neat, aren't they?

Hi..i have a pinnacle pctv pro tv card and have used more than 5 years with out any problems at all using winxp...recently i installed win7 on my computer which im using a couple of days but still cant...

In windows 7 there is a program called windows xp mode, you can run prgrams that arn't supported by windows 7 in it. It can be downloaded free of charge off of microsoft's website. If that for some reason does not work, you can install virtualbox. Either way I don't think it would be possible for it to be used in win7 because of the incompatabilities. You can ring pinnacle and ask but I dont think they will be abkle to do it sorry. Hope it helps

Every time I start burning directly from my analog video camera to a dvd the pinnacle dvd window says burning error after just a few minutes and then it freezes and I can't even get out of it without...

Hi dawn120
You need a powerfull machine to obtain full satisfying results .
The output is best directed to a hard drive folder and then burned to DVD later. Import the result into a video editor and trim and edit as needed.
Don't mess with the computer while copying. Turned off screen savers and updates to prevent disruption.

I installed the driver on the CD on Win 7 without problems. Try re-installing, but also check that you have selected the Pinnacle pre-amp in the program itself.

dude, your looking at the wrong page for drivers... this is pinnacle:

list down and you will see PCTV 110i...

I have the same problem... my works (but only in MCE) but i cant use the remote...like its dead... but i only use driver files, since if i install pinnacle or chrisTV, it just reboots my pc... so whatever! :D
