There is a plate under the turntable which needs to be replaced, remove centre bolt locknuts and washer (44,45 and 46) from the underside of the base and lift the turntable off taking care to not loose the detent spring (36) and steel ball (37), turn it upside down and remove the spacer plate (31) and replace it, use a small amount of grease on the spring and steel ball during assembly to keep them in place
I'd contact a Makita dealer. I've had this saw for years without a single misfire on the trigger. Could be heat related, but that's a stretch. Here's their contact information:

One thing to bear in mind. There's a miter angle lock and a slide lock on the bottom front of the saw. If you don't have the miter angle lock loose enough, it will be difficult to turn the saw.
