Wireless botton not working

Which Operating System are you on? Vista, Windows XP or Windows 7?

What do you mean it is not working? You switched it on? Are you connected to your wireless network? If not, do so. Also you should be able to view available wireless networks to make sure the wireless is on.

There is the possibility that your wireless card inside the computer is bad.

I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. The wireless connection was just fine, but is not working at all. I assume the wireless switch is to be pushed to the right(it does not work regardless of position)...

In XP go into my computer from the start menu... Click onto view system information.... Click onto the hardware tab and then click onto device manager. Once there you should see your wireless connection under network adapters.... expand it and you will see your wireless card. Just right click on it and choose whatever you want to do.

Wlan stopped working on hp pavilion. It is no longer in the device manager and the wireless assistant will not open at all.

This would normally mean that your wireless card has been turned off or uninstalled, since you did not uninstall it, it was turned off from the external button or switch, check around the outside of the laptop, and the top part above the keyboard for it.

My computer no longer has the wireless info in it

Okay - right click on the "PCI Modem" and select "Update Driver" - and reinstall the Wireless Driver. If that doesn't work, use the Windows Restore function to roll the system back to the last time the wireless worked. If that doesn't fix it, then the wireless function has probably died. You'll need to get a wireless network PCMCIA card for your laptop and use that to connect.

Cannot get my internal broadcom wireless card detected.

Hi there. Make sure that it is enabled under the BIOS.
If it's not enabled, there is not way that it will function well.
Good luck

Wireless internet hook up

This is generally a driver glitch. Uninstall the wireless drivers from the device manager, then reboot. The machine will find the wireless card and reinstall the drivers automatically. This should fix it, if not, let me know.
