Hello my name is uday i have canon mp 390 printer *** scanner in that when ever i scan in not comeing it will showing please insert phot index card what is the problem & when i installed these driver i will be not showing in contro panel what is the problem

Operate the scanner from the computer not the printer.
Have you loaded the MP Navigator progam from the cd supplied with the printer?
If not, do that first and then follow the steps below.
Double click MP Navigator icon on desktop.
Choose "custom scan with one click "
Save to pc. (" attach to email "only works on windows mail)
Open saved location and rename.
Write your email & click on insert drop down box
Click on "pictures inline "
Open pictures.
Open MP Navigator folder
Choose scanned item by name
Click on open box
Scan will appear under the text in your email.

i have a canon pixma mp 280 printer . when i set paper in scanner and click ok then error shows printer to use on error and scanner driver close.please sir help me

Hello! Please go to Control Panel and un-install your Canon Pixma Mp 258 Driver... now restart your computer and re-install the same driver (i.e. your printer driver) to solve your problem.
Note : Do not forget to select Easy Install.... thanks

Your anti virus software is blocking the Canon software. Restore AV default settings.

You need to control the scanner thru your PC with canon software that came with your scanner otherwise you cant scan anything..first open the printer/scanner software ,select scanner,then place your document and command "scan" on your PC..thats it..

go to 'control panel' click 'printers and hardwares" . then yu will find "scanners and cameras" potion click it and follow the procedure of scaning.please do load the document to be scaned first.
