If your tv set is good and you cannot get Comcast to help then you have to get rid of them. What are you paying them for? Try another set hooked up to the service just to make sure that it is on them to avoid any embarrassment.

I have a Vizio 55" m550nv with Lip sync issues.

Hello
Just do this first and determine the fault. Connect your Vozio to an external antenna, to its antenna socket, and set it to autotune. You can refer to its user manual to how to do this. Let the TV tune all transmitting stations at that time, and memmorize it. After auto tuning is complete. select the channels one by one and check if they are perfect in every respec or not. Itf they are perfect, your cable TV operator is lying. As I know, Vizio is a perfect set. Do the above and determine. If the transmitting stations are also bad, surely your TVs tuner has damaged, and should be replaced with same type and number.
OK.

Why won't my new Vizio DTV work on an antenna without the digital box?

Do you have the antenna aimed correctly and the correct antenna for the distance between your location and the stations? Check antennaweb.org and tvfool.com for the directions to the stations you should be able to receive. Antennaweb assumes an external antenna and is very conservative in the station list. TVfool gives the stations you should get with various different types of antennas. Tall trees and buildings will block signal strength so consider the environment around you.

With digital signals, if you do not have enough signal strength for a given tuner, the channel will not come in. An amplifier may help you get the signal, particularly if the signal is shared to several devices. Failure of an amplifier or lightning surge protection can stop the signal from reaching the TV. A surge through the antenna can damage the tuner.

A damaged cable can also be a source of a problem. Check the outside portion of the wire as well as the interior wires. Replace any that have damaged insulation or ends.

For this TV, if you have done a channel scan with the TV set to the Input TV/DTV, and the Signal Source set to Antenna. Turn the antenna and then set the Additional Scan to On. (Menu > TV > Channels > Additional Scan.) Then do another channel scan.

If you need a copy of the manual, see: http://www.vizio.com/m220va.html#support .

I can't get a TV signal on new 22" VIZIO

If you are getting the "No Signal" message you need to connect an antenna or cable to the antenna input. You also need to go into the menu for your signal source and select ANTENNA or AIR if you are using an antenna OR CABLE if you are using cable.
NEXT YOU WILL HAVE TO SCAN IN YOUR STATIONS !! This is not like the old analog sets that plug in and run.
The instruction manual will give you precise instructions.

Digital channels freeze

I also had this channel 5-1 freezing problem and spoke with Vizio support a few times. They thought the problem was the SSID code from the local CBS station and said they would try talking with them. I am not certain if they did this or not, but, as of mid December, my Vizio no longer has this problem.
