I have a Sony KDL 46 In. HDTV. The picture is great, but when watching something in HD, in particular when watching something on the Sony Blu-Ray player (either Blu-Ray or SD discs), when someone moves their face or alters their movement, the hue changes and you can see this change. I would love to know how to stop this from happening as it gets rather annoying. Additionally, I have a 32 In. XBR in the bedroom, and it doesn't have this issue. I love the TV and Blu-Ray player besides that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

first run a yellow cable to tv (AV) if does work it maybe a setting in blu-ray or TV look for any settings in the TV and blu-ray menu that says HDMI communications or something like that and turn it off. try to connect HDMI cable again.
You would need a High Definition cable package. I for instance have Comcast cable with the premium package and High Definition cable box. Also as far as watching DVD's and getting the best picture would be an HDMI cable from player to set. Hope it helps!
There is only one type of ''output'' which currently outputs 1080p and that is blu ray players.
Sky HD, free sat HD and even HDDVD's only output at 1080i.
Your TV will automatically output at its highest possible quality from the signal its receiving. Please re-clarify if you are using blu-ray, if not, go and buy a new Blu-ray player!
Got your post, I will work with the model #s. Get back with you soon. Also a tip for now: HDMI carries true digital video and audio so you may not need the optic cables.

this can be a weak signal check the connections on cables. also in hot weather you can get a build up of static electricity and it will need to be discharged, turn off tv at mains and cross the connector and the cables if you have a buster or other box connected to them turn off and do the same to them. use something metal but make sure there is no power to them.
