I have a nextar (512 mb) mp3 player, how long will the voice recorder record?

  • Anonymous May 19, 2010

Thank you, I know that was probably a dumb question, but I was referring to the possible number of minutes/hours. I need to record during my 2 hour anatomy class lectures. Again, thank you :)

MY MP3 PLAYER KEEPS SAYING FILE SYSTEM ERR

you have to generate the system file in your player. you can doing this by recording your own voice or recording a fm station song(if the option is present) and save it to the device. after that reset your device and upgrade it using the firmware manager from the software cd . but this will format your device and all the data will be lost

TIME FOR VOICE RECORDER IN 512MB

Not very much. It depends on how many songs are already in the player. The problem is that the recordings are made in WAV format, and WAV format takes up MUCH more space than an mp3 file. If you had no other songs on the player, I would say an hour maximum - maybe much less.

Pmp-4330

Do you mean voice or video recording......

whichever it is your problem maybe because of the fact that some players have only a certain limt of space alloted for recording.for example:in a normal 1 gb player with voice recording function only about 28 hrs(approx. 128 MB ) of voice can be recorded....even if there is plenty of space left in the player the player will not record voice once the full 28 hrs has been used................This recording facility can be reused by deleting the old recorded files.....

Hope it helps

Deleting Voice Recordings off my Sandisk m230 512 mb

Yeah... Go to "My Computer," and select the player by right clicking and then hitting explore. You then need to hunt around in those folders till you find your recordings and then just highlight them and hit delete. If you can't find them, try starting over, then after you "explore," go to tools-->folder options-->view--> then turn on "view hidden folders" Hope this helps!
