Does the original Nintendo NES-001 require a certain AC adapter. Cause I doesn't have the original ac adapter with same spec. My console power light is blinking on an doff. can that be the issuept

As long as it's 9 volt and about 500mA it should be ok. Just seen an original that says 9 volt and 400mA.

The current (mA) can be higher than the original but not the voltage that has to be 9.

1000mA = 1 Amp. So anything over 400mA is fine, but not less.

When i press power button on my nintendo nes the light blinks red and it seems like its not staying on.

Well you might want to try a couple different power outlites if not buy a new ac adapter then.

The Power for my NES console is going off an on.

The 72 pin connector is bad in the NES console which is why your getting the red light to constantly blink then. Or the powerdeck has overloaded.

The power button and the screen flashes when i try to turn my nes on. Why, and how do i fix this?

Well there is a segment I see on youtube that has NES lockout chip removal
the red blinking light of death means the lockout chip is malfuncting and needs to be disabled.

Nes light keep's blinking

well, heres what you do.. turn it off, and eject the cartridge.. blow in the bottom where the chip is to get rid of any dust, and put it back in.. turn it on.. if it still blinks, turn it off, and eject the game again.. this time blow into the nes itself.. put the game back in, and turn it on.. if its STILL blinking, grab another cartridge, and TURN OFF THE NES its very important. press down on the game you want to play, like your going to eject it, but instead of letting it up, slide that second cartridge you grabbed in on top of the first one.. turn the nes on, and enjoy...

it SHOULD work... if not, try taking a q-tip and dipping it in hydrogen peroxide, and cleaning the nes and game.

Nes power light oes on and off

The nes does this to stop people from playing pirated games, but it can also be because the game cartridge or console is dirty. Try cleaning inside the game cartridge with a cotton bud dipped in a cleaning product of some kind. it mostly works for me!

If it's just your power light that doesn't work but the system still t powers on it should be fine. You just have a broken bulb.
