Emachine T5026 power supply ** FREE SHIPPNG ** (EM12EB324PIN) Power Supply: my cpu fan is running but at a low speed. When i t...

My cpu fan is running but at a low speed. When i turn on my computer it opens windows fine accept the fan isnt running at the speed it usually does when turned on.then it all shuts down. Will replacing the fan solve this or is this a deeper issue.

In my opinion you have a faulty power supply, replacing only the fan may not solve your problem. Try replacing the power supply.

Power Supply

Check all power cables plugged into M/board if these are correct
remove all hard ware
hard drives / cd player and anything else
except for video and memory and test to see if it boots. If it does, one of the removed hardware is faulty if it does not then you have M/board failure
