Check the Shampooer Tank seating. Turn the unit off and unplug. Remove the Shampooer Tank and inspect the reservoir for any foreign substance. Reseat tank. Replug and turn on unit. Remember to keep your filters clean. There's the lint filter on the cap of the main tank and there's the Flow Filter (Turn Flow Indicator Cap counter-clockwise to remove, remove rotor, and filter is under it. Clean and replace in reverse.) Bissell Consumer Care 1-800-237-7691 if you need. Additionally check you Use Guide for more information.
go to bissell.com and you can download from there..make sure its bissel.com and not any of the others on the page, they all charge a fee....you can normally download or view a manual on just about anything for no charge if you go directly to the company that makes the product
Bad Pump. You pump is where the belt attaches to spin the brushes and also puts water on the floor. Take it to you local Best Buy to be serviced or a local appliance shop which may service it.
First take off the cover on the left side oif the top cover, then turn it over, remove the screw holding the red lock and pull the cap and brush roll out, remove the cap, remove the cogged belt, then you can put the new pump belt thru that slot, put over the pulley on the pump and then stretch it to go over the motor shaft. Then put back together. This is for alot of models, but you didn't state your model number, hopefully this is the right fix for yours.
