Unable to locate Olympus (B-01 4PE) Ni-MH rechargable batteries, for my Olympus D-395 digital camera. Unable to locate CR-V3X1 or LR6X2 at any retailer.

You don't need to use Olympus batteries. The D-395 uses two standard AA batteries, either disposables or alkalines. You should be able to find AA batteries at just about any department store, drugstore, electronics store, office-supply store, or supermarket.

I BOUGHT A USED OLYMPUS D-395 CAMERA, WITH NO CARD . WHAT CARD DO I NEED

The camera takes a 3V xD Picture Card (3.3 V). The original one was 16 MB; the camera will support an xD card between 16 and 512 MB. Olympus will sell you a 256 MB card for $10 here: https://us.buyolympus.com/xd-picture-card-h256mb.html . Another site with the correct size xD Picture cards is http://www.memorysuppliers.com/olxdpiccar.html .

Details for the Olympus D-395 camera are available from Olympus under Archived Products. See http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_archived_product_details.asp?id=953 . Links to the manual and specs are on the site.

I hope this helps.

I use an Olympus d-395. I downloaded some pictures, but left the usb cable attached to the computer overnight. on return I removed the usb cable and saw a message saying: removal error asking me to go to...

Try to take off battery for soft reset. When disconnected the usb camerafrom pc, follow the procedure like a external device, turn off the device and take off the connection.

I have card full display in olympus xd 395 card. how do i rectify this?

Either use the lead and software which came with your camera to download the photos to your pc or remove the card, put it in slot in your pc and download the photos. Or you can open the card up as an external drive via "my computer" and copy the photos off onto your pc. Its safest to copy and paste them, check they are ok and last of all, delete them from your memory card. If you "cut and paste" them and anything goes wrong, they are lost.

Battery life expectancy

The battery life on alkaline batteries vary according to manufacturer and power rating. Alkaline Batteries can provide up to 100 shots with typical usage. The Olympus CR-V3 long-life lithium batteries (LB-01) will provide approximately 500 shots. The Olympus Ni-MH batteries (B-01 4PE) would provide approximately 250 shots per charge and they can be recharged 300 to 500 times.
