Press and hold the "Menu" button and the "Play/Pause" button together if using an iPod Touch. Press and hold the "Menu" button and the "OK" button together if using an older iPod. Continue holding the buttons together until the screen flashes and then displays the iPod name and the Apple logo. Release the buttons. Wait as the iPod resets itself and turns itself back on. Leave the iPod connected to the USB connector so that it can fully charge the battery. Remove the iPod from the USB connector. Navigate to a song using the menu selection and play some music

It is possible to password protect your iPod Touch so that you will have to enter a password every time you want to unlock the iPod Touch screen. If you repeatedly enter the incorrect passcode, your iPod Touch will become disabled. To unlock a disabled iPod Touch, you need to sync your iPod Touch device with iTunes on your computer.

Attach the iPod Touch data cable to the bottom of your iPod Touch device and attach the other end of the data cable to an available USB port on your computer. Open iTunes on your computer and then select your iPod Touch device from the list of available devices on the left side of the iTouch window. Click the "Restore" button. If you have previously backed up your iPod Touch, you can choose to restore the device to the last back up or any saved backup. If you have never backed up your iPod Touch, this process will restore your iPod Touch's factory settings. Wait while iTunes syncs with your iPod Touch and restores the device. iTunes will prompt you when this process is complete.

it means you cant use your iPod

Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of your iPod.

Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on your Mac or PC.

Open the iTunes application by using the dock icon on a Mac or the start menu on a PC.

Click on the name of your iPod under the "Devices" list in the main iTunes window.

Click on the "Sync" button to create a connection between the computer and the iPod.

Click on the eject symbol after the syncing process is complete, and then unplug your iPod from the computer.

The lock code has been reset; when you go to disable the iPod again, you will be prompted to choose a new four-digit code.

Take to apple shop or go to iTunes on pc

connect your ipod to itunes and then click on your ipod and then click on update. and then your ipod should be good ad new.

plug it into your computer and start itunes and reset the ipod.

i forget my pswor for my ipod touch and now my ipod say ipod is disabled connect to itunes
