Install the free Microsoft Security Essentials en never pay a penny for virus programs again. To add security, only allow yourself to work in a non Admin account. As soon as any program is asking for admin rights, you know something wants to be installed, what you did not start in the first place. and just answer no.

This feature ensures your virus protection is not interrupted. Without the auto-renewal feature, you would no longer be protected when your license expires.
