E330 installation How do i install my e330 onto my laptop when my cd for it is not with me?

I am assuming you can't get into the BIOS settings to change it?

Download the latest Hiren's Boot CD and install onto a CD. There is a section for removing bios password. If you do not have a CD player on your laptop, install the Boot CD onto a usb using Microsoft's Windows 7 USB installer.

Have a look in particular at page 89 forward and follow the instructions on installing the appropriate drivers for connecting your printer. Hope this helps!

backup the data on external dive and then install on new computer and then kit will work

put winxp cd in tray
at boot up press F12 - right-arroweto CD icon --> Enter
winxp should go into install
you'll probably need a version of winxp that can recognize Sata hdd. or hae sata drivers handy.

Installing windows in Personal Computer are needed Bootable at CD/DVD Drive. Your problem is you don't have any CD/DVD Drive.

Use a Portable External CD/DVD Drive.

Hi there. Ok, you need to install an operating system. If you already have the discs, you can install it by booting from the cd. If you haven't got the discs, then I'm afraid you need to see your local pc retailer, and buy one.

There is a free operating system called Ubuntu. It's Linux based, but is free to download, and you can even order a free setup cd. You can download it from here:

open media player and insert cd should see a list of tracks displayed (if not select cd from list on lhs)in media player select rip and start rip and media player will rip tracks to your music library.

The files you copied are the installed files which is installed by the install shield wizard(or setup file).The installed files do not contain the setup or install shield file. You can use the software by double clicking the .exe file (most probably by names starting with rtv or sym).if everything goes successfully symantes icon will appear on the task bar.

Unfortunalty programs typically do not install this way. You need to obtain the installation disk or purchase a retail copy of the program.

Here is an easy proposal for troubleshooting. Did you push the ON/OFF button for a few seconds? Did you switch the battery and wait between switching a few minutes? If the pda doesn't work after this troubleshooting you should go to a Service partner because there could be a hardware problem.
