SOURCE: I have burn a DVD video using Cyberlink DVD Suite

There are many DVD formats DVD- DVD+ DVD-ROM heck even blueray is a different DVD format.,Now see if you can find any paper work for your DVD stand alone and see what is compatible with it.
The only other thought it may be, in your burning program you can select to have the DVD play only on the computer you make it on...see if that is checked
and if it is make so DVDs can play in all players.
So to recap: a compatibility issue or a proprietary setting for your computer only.
hope this helps, please leave rating, thank you

I get the message when i try to copy a CD ,,out of memory

Your virtual memory is low this is not a real problem when you have other things running in the background you do not know about. I usually increase my memory as well as when I burn things I have no windows open email automatic checking turned off as well as power options stopped so I can get a clean burn no glitches as well as it may take a bit longer but I use the slower speed rather than the fastest speed burning never fails when I do this.
How to manually change the size of the virtual memory paging fileYou must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the administrator's group to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from completing this procedure.

To manually change the size of virtual memory, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
  2. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click Settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Virtual memory click Change.
  4. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
  5. Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type a new paging file size in megabytes (MB) in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.
  6. Click OK to close the dialog box and apply changes.
Note After you change the size of the paging file, you may be prompted to restart Windows. If you are prompted to restart, the changes will not take effect until Windows is restarted.

Notes
  • To have Windows select the best paging file size, click System managed size. The recommended minimum size is the same as 1.5 times the RAM on your computer, and 3 times that figure for the maximum size. For example, if you have 256 MB of RAM, the minimum size is 384 MB, and the maximum size is 1152 MB.
  • For best performance, do not set the initial size to less than the minimum recommended size under Total paging file size for all drives. The recommended size is the same as 1.5 times the RAM on your computer. It is good practice to leave the paging file at its recommended size as performance can decrease if a paging file is too large. However, you may increase its size if you frequently use programs that use lots of memory, such as graphics programs or games.
  • We strongly recommend that you do not disable or delete the paging file because this can lessen the computer's performance. However, if you decide to delete a paging file, set both the initial size and the maximum size to zero, or click No paging file.
How to manually optimize the memory usageYou can optimize your computer's memory usage to reflect your specific needs. If your computer is used as a workstation instead of as a server, you can increase performance by devoting more memory to your programs. Your programs will work faster and the system cache size will remain the default size that was included with Windows XP. Or, you can set aside more computer memory for a larger system cache if your computer is used primarily as a server, or if you use programs that require a large system cache.
  1. Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
  2. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click Settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Memory usage use one of the following methods:
    • Click Programs if you use your computer primarily as a workstation instead of as a server. This option allocates more memory to your programs.
    • Click System cache if your computer is used primarily as a server or if you use programs that use a large system cache.
  4. Click OK to save preferences and close the dialog box. I hope that this assisted you thanks for using FixYa! John

I have been using Cyberlink Powerproducer Express for many years which after producing the appropraye files, it passes down to and opens Cyberlink - Power Producer 2 Gold to generate the DVD. For some...

If recently you have made any hardware or software changes eliminate that and then check how it works.
Do system Restore to a previous date when your computer was working fine to do that go to Start - all programs - accesories - system tools - system restore select a date when your computer was working fine follow the on screen steps.
if you have win vista then start-search type system restore and do the same thing.
If this doesnt helps try to uninstall and reinstall the software.

To solve your Problem first make sure that the windows you are using that supports your Software if supports, then your Optical Drive may not Write in high speed 16x or 18x, write your files in DVD in little bit slow speed, after doing all this if it gives same problem then Please reinstall your windows you are using.

Where can i get freeware/shareware copy of power producer 2 gold from please

Power Producer Gold 2 is not a shareware/freeware program; it's a commercial, off-the-shelf product from CyberLink. It is video-editing software and is used for home moviemakers looking for a user-friendly program. PowerProducer 2 is compatible with many movie formats and can double as a digital photo album. It's generally available at around $69.95. It won't add incredible graphics or Hollywood special effects to your movies but it's a reliable and simple system for capturing video, cleaning it up with editing tools, and burning the end product onto CD or DVD.

I don't know if Power Producer 2 Gold is available becaue Power Producer 5 is on the market. You can get more information on buying it at www.gocyberlink.com

Let me know if this helps.

I believe it's available for about $69 from sold by CyberLink

Hello, I am using cyberlink power producer slide show & i would like to add multiple background music. How can I do that? I am able to add one song.

Use the DOS copy command to append a bunch of MP3 files together, and then use the one combined file. It works best if the MP3 files all have the same characteristics (volume, bit rate, etc.)

In the command prompt, go "copy /b one.mp3+two.mp3+three.mp3 combined.mp3"

Just a video of 8.03 minutes captured in my Power Shot A550 Digital Camera shows 867 MB size

A 1.3 hour movie is recorded on a DVD, not a CD. DVDs can hold a minimum of 4.7 GB, or nearly seven times the capacity of CDs. Your 867 MB file of 8.03 minutes indicates that you were recording at about 1,800 KB/sec, or the highest quality recording level. (See specifications here.) If you're willing to record your video in a smaller size, you can get much more recording on a CD.
