SOURCE: I have a drop side

The simple answer is, no.

Kinderkraft is out of business. The company had multiple problems with lawsuits and recalls. Subsequently, Kinderkraft changed it's name in 2002 to "Baby Furniture Importers, Inc." but still went through Voluntary Dissolution during the same year.

There are no official recalls on the CPSC Crib Information Center website; however, I would, in the best interest of your child, toss the crib in the trash bin and get yourself a new one! Almost all drop side cribs have been recalled and the manufacturers have been responsible for making crib specific kits. The cribs whose manufacturers have gone out of business are sometimes able to be returned for store credit; however, in your situation with a crib that is over 9 years old (as far as being made, since the company has been gone since 2002), I would toss it!

Since the massive recalls, cribs have been redone and you can get a great and attractive crib for as little as $150 delivered to your door for free from Amazon.

mkd123.jpg Anyway, I have done a whole lot of research on the crib recalls and even though there was no official recall of Kinderkraft cribs, they are out of business and the word on the street is that they are unsafe. I figure that's enough!

I purchased a Aspin 4-in-1 crib from walmart in 2007 (Model number 8756ACG/ Manufactures code 4507DH). I am looking to set it up for our new baby and have noticed that I am missing the plastic track that...

Your crib was recalled and company is out of business. DO NOT USE FOR YOUR NEW BABY.
This recall will be carried out by retailers since the manufacturer is no longer in business. These cribs were sold at Walmart, Target and Babies R Us stores. You should contact the store where you purchased the crib to receive a refund, store credit or replacement crib.Do not attempt to fix a recalled Simplicity crib. Please find a safe, alternative sleeping location for your baby until the crib can be replaced. It's important to note, as well, that all Simplicity drop-side cribs are already under recall due to a problem with the drop-side.https://www.cpsc.gov/en/recalls/2010/simplicity-cribs-recalled-by-retailers-mattress-support-collapse-can-cause-suffocation-and-strangulation/

I just got this bed out for my new baby i just

I am not sure where you got the information regarding a recall on the Kinderkraft crib but to our knowledge there have not been any recalls, past or present, on any of the Kinderkraft cribs. The recent recalls have all involved the plastic hand release trigger hardware and that is not what Kinderkraft was using. You can go on to the Consumer Product Safety Commisions website at www.cpsc.gov for a full listing of all crib recalls to be sure.

Has your kinderkraft Crib been affected by the latest recall of cribs

Hello. The type of hardware Kinderkraft was using is not part of the recall. The recall is regarding the two hand trigger release plastic hardware. What Kinderkraft used is the lift and push type plastic hardware which as of yet has not had any recalls.

Kinderkraft crib hardware

had the same problem. Their site seems to be hijacked by someone else. But you can use this site: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php which keeps a copy of old pages on the internet. For me, clicking on the January 2006 link on this page: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://kinderkraft.com worked. Good luck!
