Black line on panasonic plasma

You either have a bad signal module or if you can go into the set and reseat all of the ribbons cables this might fix the set. Of course with the power off! If reseating doesn't fix, if I was going to fix it I would order a signal module first. It plugs up.

I have a LG DU50PX10C with a black vertical line

Plasma televisions have anywhere from 24 to 40 drivers that control the individual rows of pixels comprising the screen. Should any of those drivers fail, the screen will display a 2 or 3-inch black vertical line, and probably shift the image to one side or the other. Driver failure is considered a manufacturing defect, and is not preventable by the owner. In some instances the line can be caused by faulty pixel ribbons that run top to bottom, either faulty of just loose in their connectors etc.

Then there are Stuck Pixels, Pixels become "stuck" due a failure to turn on from its standby state. Occasionally, these pixels die in rows, spanning the full height or width of the screen, or be only a few inches long. These "dead" pixels can turn on randomly, or stay a different color other than black. This is an issue caused from the wire filaments inside the panel failing, or an offshoot from a driver failure. Impact to the screen can cause a row to stick as well, even if there is little to no external indication of damage.

However, in most cases, inspection by an engineer is usually necessary to diagnose exactly what has caused the fault, unfortunately this can be an expensive prospect, not to mention the potential for a painful bill for the repair alongside the inspection fee. If your TV is in its warranty, don't hesitate to claim on it.
I hope this helps you, or at least gives you a better idea of what you potentially could be facing. Good Luck.

I have a pantech laser but the screen is all black. i was texting a friend and all of the sudden it went black. what can i do?

I just had this too when I call BLACK SCREEN. ok I figured mine out. Laser has a control 2 dots on the top left front looking at the screen, that turn the screen off when it gets close to your face so you don't operate the screen. If you have a phone cover on these dots may be covered sensing your face is there and causing the BLACK SCREEN. Take the cover off and try it out.

Laptops come with a trial version of MS Office installed that is why it asks for a key. The sticker on the laptop has the Windows OS product key on it and doesn't work with MS Office 2007. To get Office working you will need to buy a full version.

My Pioneer 55 inch screen tv SD-P5553 has a solid black horizonta

This sounds like a picture mode issue. You maybe in a ZOOM mode. Try adjusting your set to FULL mode. If you are using a Sat receiver or cable box, some of these may have picture viewing mode as well, wich may need to be set in FULL or NORMAL viewing mode.

Good Luck!
