Troubleshooting help, but better to take the vehicle back and ask why the unit no longer works?
Unable to receive stations.
• No antenna, or open connection in the antenna cable.
- Make sure the antenna is properly connected;
replace the antenna or cable if necessary.
Unable to tune stations in the seek mode.
• You are in a weak signal area.
- Make sure the tuner is in DX mode.
• If the area you are in is a primary signal area, the antenna may
not be grounded and connected properly.
- Check your antenna connections; make sure the antenna is
properly grounded at its mounting location.
• The antenna may not be the proper length.
- Make sure the antenna is fully extended; if broken, replace
the antenna with a new one
I just finished installing my alpine iva-d300
but it says Invalid Disc
yet no disc is inside....I hear the motor inside but it won't upload or eject the cd
Try purchasing a "ground loop isolater", when your head unit and amp are grounded in 2 diffrent locations the diffrence in volatage to ground between the two will cause interference.

actually you need a filter on the power supply of the DVD unit since this is what is causing your problem. putting a spike suppressor on your audio in is not a bad idea, but it will kill some of your bass response.
