Check the latest firmware updates at www.belkin.com/support.

Or simply, access the setup page of the Belkin router (192.168.2.1), go to Utilities > Firmware update. Click on the Check firmware button.

Then click the download link. And save the firmware on your desktop.

In the firmware update screen, click browse and locate the firmware from your desktop.

Then click the Update button. Click OK to continue with upgrading.

I hope this helps!

I need an open nat on my sagem 1704 router for ps3 game mw3

I did it with Xbox.
Manually configure your console to have a specific IP address. I set my XBox to 192.168.254.254, with the subnet of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway of 192.168.254.254.
Then (on a computer) I opened my web browser and went to the address: 192.168.254.254
The name and password are both: admin
I clicked Adcances Settings, then NAT, then Virtual Servers.
I created a virtual server, named it, gave it the IP address of my console, and opened up the appropriate ports.
Once I saved it, it worked fine.

When playin xbox and laptop is connected to internet i have problems connecting to lobbies and lag really bad when i do connect to them... how can i fix this... it says my nat setting is strict... before...

Open the router interface (192.168.2.1), by connecting a computer hard-wired to your router and ensure modem is also connected.
On the far left side, Click on Firewall and disable it.
Click on DMZ under firewall and assign an IP: 192.168.2.25 after enabling DMZ.
Assign the IP settings manually on your X-Box too.
IP: 192.168.2.25
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway/Router: 192.168.2.1
Assign DNS settings manually on your X-Box: Primary: 4.2.2.2; Secondary: 4.2.2.1
Click on Wi-Fi Protected Setup, disable this feature.
Click on Security under WIRELESS, change it to 64-bit WEP and enter tour phone no. as wireless key under key1.
Check if the firmware version on the router is: 1.00.17, else upgrade it.
Save the router settings.
Restore the router to factory defaults
Restore the saved settings on the router now.
Unplug the power from modem, router and X-Box.
Connect power to modem 1st, router 2nd and finally X-Box and now check.

For further clarifications, please revert!
Thanks for asking.

After changing the settings on modem have you selected "save and reboot" even after save and reboot is done the settings were unable to save, it means there was an problem with your modem itself its unable to save the settings.

HN9000 won't pass remote services

On the Router check if you have UPnP enabled, if yes then Disabel it that should fix the NAT issue and then you need to open the port number 1723,3389. Once these ports are opened then you will be able to access it on the VPN and Remote Desktop Provided you have a WAN IP Address from your ISP. also check the Firmware of the router if its updated or not.

I have a 3347 motorola modem and I have two

If you have a Private IP address from the Modem like 192.168.1.65. 10.10.10.254, 192.168.2.45, etc.... the the NAT will be an issue, for games like Dawn of Death 2 which need more Bandwidth when joining the Game Server the WAN IP address which is from your Modem need to Public like 65.24.85.148, 72.54.36.94, etc... if you have a WAN IP address then check the Firmware of your router and if possible get the specific port number from the Game Administrator and open it on your router so that you wont have NAT issues.

BELKIN ROUTER F5D7231-4 TCP PORT 1723 BLOCKS VPN CONNECTION

Download the latest firmware from: http://belkin.com/support
Upon searching, you will three versions of this model available. As you didn't specify the version, you may select the appropriate.
Download and save it your desktop
Open router interface using: 192.168.2.1
Under utilities, click on Firmware Update
Browse, Locate the file(.bin) from your desktop, click on update
Click on Restore Factory Defaults under Utilities
Try to re-configure the router and forward ports that you want.
If this doesn't work, Enable DMZ for the private IP address you want.
That should certainly work.
It could also be your modem that may be blocking> Check this too
Only if you have NAT enabled modem, try to use this router as an access point
This would surely work

Nat not open

NAT problems do not always lie within the router hardware, sometimes the firmware may require updating, or the router may not be compatible with the Xbox 360.

I Suggest taking these steps to Try to alleviate your Problem:

1) Power Cycle All the devices Connected to your Network

Follow these steps to power cycle your modem and router:
¤ Disconnect the power supply from the modem, and then disconnect the power supply from the
router.
¤ Press the power button to turn off the Xbox console.
¤ Turn off the computer and any other devices that are part of the network. Leave the devices
unplugged and turned off for at least three minutes.
¤ Turn the modem and router back on by connecting their power supplies. Make sure that all lights
on the modem and router are illuminated according to the manufacturer’s specifications. For more
information, see the documentation that was included with the modem and the router.
¤ Turn on the Xbox console, the computer, and any other devices on the network.

2) Test your Xbox Live connection and Check if the NAT is still showing up as Moderate Or Strict.

3) Navigate to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/xbox360/homenetworking/equipment.htm to Check that your Networking Devices are compatible with Xbox Live and also that they have the Most Up-to-date Firmware !

How to change my NAT

You need to check first if your router is Xbox Live compatible (all routers will work, but only certain ones will allow an open NAT):
http://www.xbox.com/en-us/support/connecttolive/xbox360/homenetworking/equipment.htm

If your router IS on the list, make sure you have a compatible firmware version (usually the firmware version is written on the router somewhere). If you do not have the proper firmware, you will need to downgrade your firmware (reply to me for instructions on this).

If your router is not on the list, you're outta luck.
