I use Logic 7 on a Mac osx 10.4.11 2.16 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo... My keyboard notes when reading recorded midi tracks get stuck and sustain as if someone is holding one down. It happens after playing a few notes that one note or more will sustain even after switching to a different sound on my keyboard that original stuck note or group of notes will sustain which is weird. Only turning off keyboard will stop it. My computer keyboard Logic work fine with a different (my friend's) soundcard; I tested that. My m-audio 410 works for playing back audio that's been already recorded. It's just this problem recording new midi notes (i guess) that is not working; other wise the soundcard works. Just this stuck note thing when in recording midi. I can play the keyboard and here it fine when the midi track is disabled. I just can't make music like i used to and want to.

U need an external phantom power supply, they run about $19.99, or you can get a different interface which has phantom power onboard, the cheapest one would be the m-audio mobile pre usb but that would not work on vista 64 bit... best bet is to get external power....

Use the taope outs. They're the RCA plugs located in your manual as "20".

I havent played with acid a lot... but this is what i can tell you... most of the softwares have configurable inputs... seems like your inputs are configured as stereo input and hence it will pick up the signal from both the left and right discreetly... which means that you would need to feed audio to both the channels for the meter to pump on both bars...The other option is to PAN the track center and not hard left right... this would get audio to both ears of headphone as well as the output meters...
these are basically some of the few things tht will get u sound on both ears and bars...
The bigger question here thoug is why do you want to record in stereo?? and not mono?
