My keyboard notes, when reading midi tracks, sustain; get stuck

I use Logic 7 on a Mac osx 10.4.11 2.16 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo... My keyboard notes when reading recorded midi tracks get stuck and sustain as if someone is holding one down. It happens after playing a few notes that one note or more will sustain even after switching to a different sound on my keyboard that original stuck note or group of notes will sustain which is weird. Only turning off keyboard will stop it. My computer keyboard Logic work fine with a different (my friend's) soundcard; I tested that. My m-audio 410 works for playing back audio that's been already recorded. It's just this problem recording new midi notes (i guess) that is not working; other wise the soundcard works. Just this stuck note thing when in recording midi. I can play the keyboard and here it fine when the midi track is disabled. I just can't make music like i used to and want to.

SOURCE: M-Audio USB

U need an external phantom power supply, they run about $19.99, or you can get a different interface which has phantom power onboard, the cheapest one would be the m-audio mobile pre usb but that would not work on vista 64 bit... best bet is to get external power....

SOURCE: M-audio fast track sound only coming out of right side

I havent played with acid a lot... but this is what i can tell you... most of the softwares have configurable inputs... seems like your inputs are configured as stereo input and hence it will pick up the signal from both the left and right discreetly... which means that you would need to feed audio to both the channels for the meter to pump on both bars...The other option is to PAN the track center and not hard left right... this would get audio to both ears of headphone as well as the output meters...
these are basically some of the few things tht will get u sound on both ears and bars...
The bigger question here thoug is why do you want to record in stereo?? and not mono?

Midi sound does't stop

I don't have any of that gear, but check that an option like "note on/off" is turned on in the MIDI setup menu on the Juno-D. Also check in Logic that it's midi is setup right. Logic could also be receiving sustain pedal MIDI info from the Juno. Anyway, that's all I got.

I'm having a problem with the website woozworld can you help?

Hi!

1. Check if pop up blocker is disable
2. Here are some specs I found on their website, you should check this to see any compatibility issues:

The high speed connection is essential to use Woozworld in an optimal way, due to the richness of the environment on the web site.

PC:
Windows : processor 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron or Core Duo (or equivalent) and superior, 1GB RAM
MAC:
OSX : 1.5 GHz Intel Core Duo and superior, 1GB RAM
Internet connection :
512 Kbits/seconds minimum (Cable/ADSL) or faster

Woozworld is incompatible with the Safari browser.

3. You can check any antivirus
4. As last resource you can try another internet browser (E.g.: Mozilla, GoogleChrome)

GoodLuck!

My Mac OSX (version 10.6.6) (processor-2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) will not print on the dell V305 and this has been going on since I got the computer around the date 1/11/11!

I had this exact same problem. These Dell printers are really Lexmark with Dell branding. They will simply not work with Mac OSX. The only solution I came up with is to make a network printer on your home network. That will work with any combination of Macs and PCs.

Need a prossesor for motherboard

You can also use any other intel 775 socket processor as well. The dual cores are at the top of the list for performance that are compatible with that board, but if you're looking for a cheaper solution, I have that board with a 3GHz pentium 4 and it runs great. Here's a list of all the processors you can use.
Intel Pentium 4 (2.66 - 3.80 GHz)
Intel Celeron D (2.53 - 3.60 GHz )
Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition
(3.20 - 3.73 GHz)
Intel Pentium D (2.66 - 3.60 GHz)
Intel Pentium Extreme Edition
(3.20 - 3.73 GHz)
Pentium Dual-Core (1.40 - 2.80 GHz)
Intel Core 2 Duo (1.60 - 3.33 GHz)
Intel Core 2 Extreme (2.66 - 3.20 GHz)
Intel Core 2 Quad (2.33 - 3.00 GHz)
Intel Xeon (1.86-3.40 GHz)
Intel 'Core' Celeron (1.60 - 2.40 GHz)

CD/DVD optical drive malfunctioning. Invariable performance with reading and ripping CDs. Cannot read DVDs.

upgrade your CD/DVD firmware from MAC website and install it.
if it does same even upgrading driver then most could be problem in optical lens so better taking back in the same place where you bought it from if its still under warranty.

or if its out of warranty then you need to take to Tech so they can fix it for you.

please post back if anything changes and rate all answers.

Sound module & mic (connected to a Tascam US-224) not working

I may be able to help.  I am a longtime Mac and Tascam control surface user.  I am currently running a MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz running OS 10.5.6 with a Tascam FW-1884 audio interface/mixer/control surface connected.

Setup is fairly easy in the Mac OS.  Here are the steps I'd follow:

NOTE: Before beginning the following process make sure that ALL of your MIDI gear is connected.

- Tascam connected to USB port of computer
- MIDI Keyboard "OUT" connected to Tascam "IN"
- Roland "IN" connected to Tascam "OUT"

1) Open your "Applications" folder.
2) Open the "Utilities" folder.
3) Double-click on "Audio MIDI Setup."
4) At the top of the window select "MIDI Devices"
5) In the pull-down menu on the left select "New Configuration."
6) Title your configuration and press "OK"
7) If your gear has been detected automatically their names and icons should appear in the main window.  If so, skip down to step 12
8) Click on the "Add Device" button
9) Double-click on the "new external device" button that has now been created.
10) Select your device's manufacturer and model (i.e. Roland, JV-1010).
11) Adjust any other settings appropriate to your setup.

[In the main window there should be a Tascam US-224 button.  On it there should be one pair of arrows that indicate the MIDI In and MIDI Out ports of the device.]

12) Click (and hold) on the MIDI Out arrow of the US-224 button.
13) Drag the "cord" and attach it to the MIDI In of the Roland JV-1010 button.
13) Click (and hold) on the MIDI In arrow of the US-224 button.
14) Drag the "cord" and attach it to the MIDI Out of the "keyboard" button.

This should get you setup from a Mac OS/Device routing perspective.  For the appropriate US-224 Control Panel settings refer to the User Manual.
