I have the same issue, the lamp indicator flashes 4 times every four times every 4 seconds. I cleaned the filter and took out the lamp. Looked at it and everything seemed to be Normal.

I replaced the bulb, yet the tv will not even display a picture.

I have the exact same thing. Does this mean the bulb is bad or is it something else? Thanks for the help!

When the lamp flashes 4 times this is what the error code means IC 2301 pin 11 has detected an LCD error which is caused by an error in the LCD power CBA. which means the lamp voltage has become more than 130 volts or less than 30 volts. Or the lamp current is more than 5 amps, or the lamp is cracked. Its one of thos 3 reasons that will make the lamp indicator blink 4 times. Hope this helps. Lamp doesnt look blown but lamp light flashing n tv wont turn on

Check the Lamp Fan if it is defective Lamp will try to light but will shut off, And the Ballast board is what turns Lamp on, For Part number o to Encompass parts distrubtion and type in your model they should list the ballast board and PN Then go to Ebay Look under Electronics type in PN, I got mine for $65.00
Lamp for $85.00

How to reset lamp meter

I have a PT-50LCX63 unit. After 5 years and 4 bulbs, a "reset lamp" warning showed up every time I turned on the tv. I have to say that after a few weeks, the message ceased on its own. I don't know if all models eventually reset or turn off, but I could not find any other information on the direct way of resetting. I find the warning a waste of time since the bulbs are good for 10 -14 months. Sadly I missed the class action suit that dealt with the premature lamp failures. I am looking for a new tv at this point. Bulbs have cost me $1200.00 since I bought it. The warning is supposed to allow you the option of replacing the lamp before it fails, Ha! what a joke...Thanks for reading.

Resetting lamp replacement warning

Turn the TV on and press recall to clear the warning. Then hold down the volume " - " button on the tv and the PIP (Play) button on the remote for ~ 5 sec

My PT-45LC12 has picture and fan problems

More like lamp failure. Could be other things of course but start with the lamp cause it will need it anyway if has been a couple years.
Projection TV makers charge an arm and a leg for their replacement lamps. They make it easy to do but as a result the custom lamp assy is expensive. The trick is to just buy the bulb for your model TV from any number of us aftermarket sources at a fraction of the lamp price and install it in the old lamp yourself. really easy. Some models are real bulb hogs though. Look them up on the net (include the word complaint or repair) before you buy, or you might be sorry. Many class action lawsuits out there - even against some of the name brand makers.
Hope ya fix it!

Pt-45lc12

It looks like a problem with a tube (projector light) I suspect the green one. Pay attention to flickering on the lights and post me the results.

PT-45LC12 wont power up

You have a bad lamp. The "clicking" sound you hear is the ballast (lamp power supply) attempting to start the lamp. The warning on Panasonics that comes up on screen does so when the life expectancy of the lamp is approaching. Otherwise your "clicking" sound and the red light on front are saying bad lamp. When you replace the lamp remeber to follow the instruction that Panasinc provides with the new lamp on restetting the lamp timer. This is usually done with the volume down on the TV and the PIP button on the remote.
