My camera will not turn on. The battery looks slightly damaged but is not leaking anything. But i puged it into my computer via usb cord thinking it would just get its power from that but it did not work( my old mp3 player was able to do that)
Hi friends,i am from india,few months (6 months) back i have purchased the fujifilm s5700 camera, but unfortunately the one of the pencil battery got leaked inside it, now in the one of the battery comoartment, out of total four battery compartment, some greensih fluid i can see. now after putting the fully charged battery, i am not able to switch on teh cmaera, i am worried a lot, it is under warranty period, of 2 years, but i am bit concerned, as few o my friends are saying that battery problem can not be fixed by teh manufacturer even in the warranty period.
please solve my problem, weather battteryleak problem be solved, and if solved, can it be repaired by manufecurer free of cost during warranty period.....
