Weird toner issues

Sadly, the following HP support page offers about 8 dirrerent possible solutions, some of which you may have tried. You likely will have to try the others to see if they eliminate the problem.

This is usually a sign that the toner cartridge is running low on toner. Replace the toner cartridge and see if the problem persists. If not, then problem solved.

If the problem persists, try adjusting the darkness settings in the printer settings when you are about to print. Sometimes even one notch darker can make a large difference.

Printed pages are VERY light, and the fuser temperature is low. The toner is not fixed on paper. Still it don`t give any errors. A detailed diagram of the power souce have anyone?

Probably a defective toner cartridge.

This can be caused by one of two things.

1. faulty wiper blade on your toner so that the previous image in not being wiped off the drum.
2. worn fuser sleve.

To work out which it is you will need to do a half stop test: print off a normal document then when it is about half way through the printer ( unfortunatly you may have to repeat this to get the timing right) open the front cover. remove the toner cartridge. if you can see the ghosting on the page the it is the toner. if its not there then its a new fuser. to save on money and if your confident enouh you may be able to just chane the fuser sleve depending on the state of the fuser on a whole.

The only time I saw a color laser Printing darker than normal the issue was tranfer belt. The condition you describe matches the problem I was involved in and the tranfer kit fixed the problem.

other wise Check printer on other New computer with new Printer Drivers Installation

check the scan unit or change it

maybe the scan unit need to clean first you most sure that the toner cartridge is original and new then start clean th scan unit reflector

The cartridge itself needs to be replaced, threre is a blade called the drum cleaning blade which scrapes toner off the Drum(blue roller) it is not cleaning the excess toner.
