Keyboard not responding.

I have the logitech MX3200 wireless keyboard. I have changed the batteries and several keys on the keyboard are not responding. Some have a delayed response time and after I have touched them several times with no response there will suddenly be several of that character appear on the screen. I have also moved the receiver to a better location but no change.

Your problem sounds more like the system running slow rather than the keyboard being the issue.
Do routine maintenance and cleanup on your system to see if it helps it.

To start the Disk Cleanup tool and specify the hard disk to clean by using a command line, use the following steps:

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type the following line and then press ENTER
    cleanmgr
  3. click OK
  4. The dialog box that opens shows you the files it will remove to clean up the system
  5. Make sure Temporary files is checked
  6. Click OK
Then check your system for malicious software.
  1. Go to http://malwarebytes.org
  2. Download and scan the system
  3. Remove all found infections.
  4. Restart your system
These things should help if this is the cause.
If your problem still is present, change the battery in the keyboard. A battery that is close to empty will cause this as well.

Let me know if this resolves your issue.

Every now and then there is a buzzing sound from my MX3200 keyboard and the screen/page starts to scroll uncontrollably up and down? This severely interrupts my flow of work. Any solutions please? Thanks

The FCC requires that most of the consumer wireless devices operate on a specific frequency. Unfortunately, that frequency is not reserved for that type of device. most consumer devices are subject to Radio Frequency Interference.

Or the batteries in your device may be low, and require changing.

Trying to use overhead projector on laptop with wireless keyboard

Should be the same thing. Laptop is just sending commands to laptop which is already connected to the projector.

Otherwise try contacting Logitech directly here: http://support.logitech.com/contact

I have a dell pc ~ 15 months old that was bought with logitech MX3200 wireless keyboard and mouse. My wife changed the batteries in the mouse but it did not automatically reconnect. On my return, I pressed...

These devices will never auto connect after a battery change. You must press the button on the receiver then the red button on the mouse. Then the button on the receiver again, then the red button on the keyboard. The buttons on the devices (keyboard and mouse are on the bottom of the device.

Logitech MX3200 Wireless keyboard connects but prints garbage

Yes, I have a solution. Throw the bugger away! This has been the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought. It has loads of unecessary features like using the buttons for other things. I am sick of it asking me if I want to assign an action to a key. I want a bog standard wireless keyboard. Yes, I'll assign an action alright. I'll throw it through the bloody window!!!!!!
