No.

As with all modern machines your senses the size of the load and adjusts water levels accordingly. Unlike older machines, this means that less water is used and less energy is used to heat excess water. It also means that you get a better wash as the cleaning quality is lower if the load is sloshing about in too much water.

How do I ajust water level for more water for wm2240cw hardly adds water

water level is automatically set and adjusted for volume and type of clothing. (at a low level, below the bottom of the door) If you select a delicate cycle, the water level will be slighly higher. These water levels are all that is required to clean in these machines. Take that into account when adding your laundry detergent. Old top load machines used 40 or more gallons per cycle. Your machine uses about 13 gallons, so you should only be using 1 to 2 tablespoons of HE laundry detergent per load. (only 1 teaspoon of fabric softner if you use it)

WM0642HW LG water level is too low.I want to get more water in it. Any suggestions? Is there any way i can override sensors so i can get about 5 gallons more water in it?

YES YOU CAN RAISE THE WATER LEVEL ! Raise the top of the washer lid by removing the 4 dispenser screws. Push side of dispenser tabs to drop dispenser down off from lid. Using an opener or flat item, insert into lid front edge to depress inward the metal top hold down clip. Do the left side first then the right side. Raise the lid. You'll see the water level sensor switch on the inner cabinet upper right side. You will see a set screw for a phillips screwdriver. Slowly turn that screw CLOCKWISE about a quarter turn. With washer cylinder emply, and holding detergent dispenser assembly upright so it won't spill water into inner cabinet area, start the washer. You will see the water level rise to a higher set point than just to the edge of the gray cylinder baffels.I have set mine to fill to the edge of the rubber door seal. I wouldn't go any higher than that. I see no need for the water level going over onto the glass window area.Ever since i raised the water level so my clothing tumbles in water instead of wicking up water as before and only becomming fully saturated nearing the end of the wash segment. The new adjustment has ended all of the complaints i had earlier about this washer not cleaning or rinsing well. My laundry is clean the first time around and all my washer needed was a few more gallons of water to work with. LG themselves were of NO help when i called dozens of times before .They just gave me the run around and never a straight answer about the water level except nothing could be done, it was based on laundry load weight, too bad so sad. That was TOTALLY UNTRUE! I found out how to adjust it by another owner of the LG WM0642HW posting this info on how to raise the water level, and how to go about doing it.I've not had to do a single rewash since turning that water level switch higher.Honestly!

My dishwasher is leaking water from the front door

The water inlet level setting could be faulty and thus "overfills" the washer with water. The water level is senced via a plastic tube feeding an ajustable switch. Sometimes the plastic pressur sence pipe gets clogged and water level is then not correct. The switch can have burnt contacts and might need replacing.

Water will not shut off.

1st: check to see if the hose that the water comes out when it drains is higher than the water level in the washer.

2nd: It could be the plastic line that is inside of the washer that determines the water level.

Check the hose at the back to see if it's higher first.

My FWT645RHSO front load washer does not fill with enough water.

Hello Twisted1,
If you have adjusted the level to reset and then to where you want it and it still won't fill to the level you want, I would suspect the level sensor in the washer itself. Most washers have to be switched to reset before setting a lower or higher water level. I hope it's as simple as the reset level switch for you.
Good Luck.
