How do i re aline my projection Hitachi TV out of the 6 x 5 are out of line how do I fix it

Check your owner's manual and see if there are instructions for setting the convergence. This lines up the different color guns so that you don't need your 3D glasses. If setting the convergence doesn't work, you may need new IC chips. Good luck!

Remove Front bottom Panel thier you will see front of convergence board there is a small blue contact switich with TV on press and hold it for 5 sec then you should see convergence Pattern so you can aline convergence correctly I have the whole Manual to tv just have to find it. anyway for now try this.

Pull front bottom panel off of TV on convergence board where ICs are in Front of board is a setup switch Small blue contact switch Press and hold untill convergnce Pattern appears Now aline convergence, you must have you hand unit that came with TV.

Resistors " RK42 3.3ohms
RK46 1.8ohms RK50 2.7ohms RK54 1.5ohms RK58 3.9ohms RK62 2.2ohms After you replace all of them then enter convergence by pulling OFF bottom front panel there on front of convergence board is a small blue button press it and a convergence pattern will come up now aline each color red then blue.

You need to get into the service menu and do a factory alinement.

It sounds like a convergence problem; either bad solder connections at one of the convergence Ic chips or a bad Ic. if this was helpful give me a vote----if one of the chips is now bad it will have to be replaced(usual thing is to replace all the convergence ic chips---most use two and a few 3.

Only If you have any of the low ohm resistors that may be bad , The 110s Do Not hold up they can not handle the heat as well as 180s ,I have sams at my shop will look at which resistors you need to check last one I repaired had 7 resisitors i had to change out this was due to the fact customer had been watching TV for 6 months before having it fixed and i also had to clear the DUC ram and do a complete alinement on convergence it took total of 6hrs to do it from start to finish. Next set that comes in like that EST 650.00 for complete job.

Depending on what you have done so far after replacing STKs it can take up 6 hrs to realine complete convergence on these sets and if your DCU moduel is bad cost is 215.00 This type of alinment requires someone who knows what they are doing .

You need to most likely replace the convergence output IC's probably STK392-110's and check associated resistors around it. HD is not mandated for 2009, only digital braodcast it is at that point all analog television broadcast must stop.
