More than likely the drive IC (integrated circuit) has shorted, and needs to be replaced. Not an easy fix, and you'll have to take it to a service center for replacement.
This is a drive issue. Unfortunately the TTX direct drive system isn't the greatest. It's good, but it's no Technics 1200. The only way to 'fix' this issue is to have a professional look at main circuit board to see if there are any components which are burned, or damaged in any way.
More than likely the button switches are damaged and need to be replaced. The CDMix1 is a very bad unit, chock full of issues. We wont even bother working on these anymore. This includes the CDMix 2 and CDMIX 3.
You might have to contact Numark directly for repair assistance on this one - www.numark.com
Unfortunately, the only way to access the tonearm is through the bottom. It's not that difficult, but you should be very careful when placing your turntable upside down to remove the base.
same problem. how much does this cost to get fixed in us? and should it be done by numark?
