Sounds like the remote receiver units (located where the mains connect to the fans) took a surge and have failed.

SOURCE: Hunter Fan

check your remote sensor inside the fan housing and make sure it's wired properly. Sounds like the solonoid is not wired correctly to the light. Hope this helps. Good luck.

SOURCE: Hunter 52" ceiling fan model 23457-380, the remote lights up

check the hard wiring from the factory. Where the light kit attaches to the fan check the wires in the factory cubes to make sure none are coming off. I had a similar problem that kicked my **** for a few minutes but I saw a loose wire after a bit of research. My fan also clicked but never turned on. Also pull the chains on the fan/light to make sure they are on. Hope something works for you.

Fan is not working but makes a humming noise at lower speeds and clanking noise at highest speed. When last working there was the clanking noise when I turned off the fan. Please help.

Then turn it off immediately just to be safe that nothing will be broken, can you see the interior? Is there anything broken or loose that might cause the noize? If yes remove.
If not try to clean it with a little cloth or anything, maybe it is too dusty.

Fan unit not responding to the remote to change speeds

The red light on the remote is the battery indicator light. You probably need a new capacitor. Take off switchcup & check black box to see if it is going bad.

If you hear any humming from the fan when you're trying to turn it on, then your motor is froze. I'm thinking from your description of being able to hear the actual fan switching but getting no results, it's probably the motor.

Hi,
TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front.

Hunter remote 85752 does not work

You probably need to re-sync the remote to the fan. To do this, turn the power off to the fan; and within ten seconds, hit the "3" button, then the "2", and then hold the 1 button until you hear a click. This should fix it. Good luck!

HI, We have a Hunter Ceiling fan with light (5yr. old) The light nor fan will turn on with switch or remote, the fan does click can you help

you probably have a loose/broken wire.

This sometimes happens where the fans wires are wire nuted to the homes wiring in the junction box.

What exactly do you mena when you say the fan "clicks"?

You hear a click when you pull the switch?
or it makes a continuose clicking noise when you have turned it on, but does not turn?

Mika aire remote fan

Not sure if this addresses your problem or not, but with my Minka Aire ceiling fans, the fan has to be moving in order to change the fan direction. Turn the fan on (any speed works), then push the reverse button. The fan will speed up to max, then you'll hear the gears switching. The fan will slow to a stop, change directions and get back up to speed in the new direction.
