This might be a plumbing problem but it only happens when I do a load of washing. When the water drains it goes into a pipe in the wall and then my bath tub fills up and the bath drains .when the water is in the tub it has all the junk from the washer and it can plug up the drain on occasion. The bath tub usually doesn't have any problems its just when doing the laundry and it happens on both the washing and rise. Thanks

Check your main vent line for obstructions (animals, nests, leaves, etc.) and then have your drains inspected. There is likely a "log-jam" (pun intended) in the sewer drain line - as it is not allowing the water to drain as fast as the washer pumps it out.

Over flowing on water discharge

Hi,
This is not a fault with your machine.
The problem lies aquarely with the outlet pipe in the building plumbing. Very often there is a gradual build-up of grease in this pipe somewhere before the pipe gets larger to the main drain.

The first solution is to use a solid or liquid drain cleaner in that pipe - and leave it to work at least overnight.
Then fill a bowl with very hot water and Soda Crystals - basic washing soda.
Flush the pipe with a full bowlfull of this hot water (may need a large mouthed funnel)
Also a hosepipe from the hot tap to a pipe in the outlet will work.

Once clear - you shouldn't have anymore problems.

If you wish, you can wrap a polythene bag around the machine outlet, then force this into the wall drain pipe - to make a better seal. It's not ideal, but may help with pipes that are slow to drain.

Washer fills up than starts draining while in wash cycle

Hello , here is the fix-your drain hose is placed to low in the drain line in the wall, it can not be placed in water or it will siphon the water out of your washer into the drain pipe and it wont stop until it hits air. try pulling your drain hose up and out of the drain and get a zip tie or cable and tie it to one of the water valves by the drain pipe placing the end of the drain hose about 5-6 inches inside the drain pipe. Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck it will work.

Maytag floods when it drains

If the flooding is from hose and joint in the drain system, or from the drain pump, then it is the machine.

If instead, as it looks, it is a return from the drain pipes on the wall, then the problem concerns your house drain line, in that case it is a plumber job.

Ensure that the leak is not from inside the machine, if it is not anything from the machine, then call the plumber.

My brand new Lg front load washer fills with water after the completion of a full wash/rinse cycle has finished and the machine is turned off.

can be
either
inlet valve leaking. turn off water and see if it still fills
or
if drain is plumbed in to a spigot off the sink trap, every time you empty sink, some of the water goes down the drain pipe. to cure in this case, take the drain pipe as high as possible up under the sink in a swan neck

Rinse pipe overflow

Depending on how your drain system is plumbed where you live.. many homes use a 'trap' .. meaning a place where water remains to keep sewer gas from getting back into your home.. If your house is set up with this ( and it may be on the wall or in the floor).. you may have a blockage there that won't allow water to drain fast enough and the pipe fills up and leaks onto your floor.. Hope this helps you...

Water accumulates inside the washer

i guess you have washer drain pipe plumbed into a spigot on the sink trap. if so, when you empty sink, some of the water goes down the washer drain pipe and ends up filling your machine.
to cure, take the drain pipe as high up as possible under the sink in a swan neck and that should cure it. its a common problem
