I agree with uninstalling and then re-instally yahoo messenger, however i think a complete installation of windows is not required, there is a section of the windows installation process that will identify the operating system in place, and gives you the option of repairing that installation first, thereby saving your files.
Hello!
try to uninstall the YM and then restart the computer. after restarting reinstall the yahoo messenger. If this not solve then, you have to scan for viruses the system. you can usae this link. http://www.precisesecurity.com/antivirus/online-scan.htm.
if this not solve again the problem, You should reinstall the operating system again. here the link for windows installation procedure. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/winxp/install.mspx
may this help you, melnavz
That is true that there is some portion of windows that need to be in place. The problem is , what application program that make YM got an issue. i also agree that repairing the installation could resolve the problem and lousir done it already. i guess if the system has no virus in it at 100% virus free, basically if you/we are the maker of the microsoft we disect and pinpoint which portion cause and error. so what is your suggestion buddy
