Aiwa fm/am compact disc player cdc-x304 face plate

I bought a used car with no face plate: (aiwa fm/am compact disc player cdc-x304 face plate). i tryed to find 1 on the internet but i can't, will another aiwa face plate work CDC-X144, CDC-X204, CDC-X444, CDC-X504MP or any other.

Buy a new radio, you'll never find just the faceplate... trust me on this one it's not worth the headache.

My CDC-X304 is still stuck in demo mode. I have pulled the fuse for at least 30 seconds and tried pushing and holding the menu button, but nothing works. Help!

Go in to menu and turn off the demo mode

Can't get the player out of demo. Does not respond to button pushing in any combo either.

try taking the deck out of the car and unhooking it for a while that should reset it to factory settings

None of my buttons work. I tried to reset it and

check connection between face and unit make sure it is clean, pull apart face and clean circut with metho(make sure it is dry before testing and see how u go this should fix it

Unresponsive face plate/ buttons

check wiring to make sure all wires r properly connected, sounds like a power problem . if it is an expensive radio and it is broken then its probably worth fixing.if its a cheepie than chunk it and get a new one

CDC-X304 in permanent DEMO mode

I HAVE SAME PROBLEM. AFTER I REPLACED MY DEAD BATTERY MY AIWA CDC-X304 IS STUCK IN THE DEMO MODE. ONLY CD WORKS BUT ALL BUTTONS ON FACING DO NOT RESPOND. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RESET.
