Won't turn back on and finish cycle

We went to open the washer and take out two items to dry quickly.....but now, it won't finish the cycle. The door shows locked, but it is not locked...and we have wet soapy clothes in the washer. We have unplugged it, and that doesn't work...

Please help, we need to finish laundry and it won't finish or reset so we can wash the load.

We had the same problem and we did as everyone said and cleaned out the filter. My husband tapped on the pump and knocked what was clogging it out. The washer started working after that and we didn't have to by a new pump.

I had the same problem with my washer. Ended up buying a new water discharge pump. Fixed the problem right away. Pump was $137.00 shipped to my house. Installs very easy... 2 Screws... Pull the cover plate at bottom of washer.. The pump is attached to the housing of the drain clean out. If you look in the right hand corner of the bottom of washer you will see it. It is white... Try to cycle your washer. Pull the electricity plug... Make sure no power. Take your hand and put on top of pump motor. My was very hot.... If so, chances are you have a bad motor. You will have to replace the whole assembly... This is a result of keeping the drain clean...

Press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds, & wait for 2 minutes to open door. You can then re-start the wash. It is possible you cld hv damaged fhe door switch. For front loaders you do not open the door during a wash, never. Less problems.

Electrolus front load washer door won't open

Hello - Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. If the door does not open, then it sounds like the washer is possibly experiencing a communication problem with the control board, wiring failure or faulty door lock. Contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose/repair unit.

Washer Control Locked blinking and won't washer won't work

Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

Unit will not turn on at all. Power source definately works. Unsure if unit stopped during dry cycle or finished and never came back on, but clothes were dry, indicating it was finished with the wash...

Sounds like the problem is with the control board.  There is an internal fuse in the board but it is not replaceable.  You will need a qualified LG technician to service this unit.
