Converting cassette to cd disk to put on podi

  • Anonymous Oct 28, 2011

I have a Electro Brand cassette tape converter that uses Audacity; I import the music from the cassette but then can't export it to a CD as it won't accept audacity files so I need to either convert it to a MP3 or wav file but do not have the correct MP3 codes. Help

You need an application that is able to record sound from the soundcard I recommend audacity since its is free and open source. you also need a cassette player that has a line output. Connect your cassette player to the line-in audio port and set audacity to record from this device (this guide will help). It is not exactly easy but is not impossible and once you get the grip of it you will be able you use your computer as a mixing studio.

EnVivo Cassette Converter CD software manual disc is too small to fit into hard drive of my computer. I have a desk top computer

do you mean the CD is only 8 cm and not 12 cm? and you can't put it in your CD player on the desktop computer?
Perhaps you should try to goto the EnVivo support site and download the manual and software there>
Or perhaps you could turn the desktop computer 90 degrees for one time, so the disk can lay on the try and can be used still?

Casette to disc

to convert music from cassett to disk u need to connect the cassett player headphone jack / line out jack to ur PC/laptop mike / line in jack....then play the music and record it in a software(Nero Sound editor etc)
then once that's done save it as mp3 file on to ut PC and trf it to ur cd/disk....u can just copy it as mp3 or create a music cd using Nero...from the mp3 file
the difference is if u just copy the mp3 on to the cd then only a mp3 player/mp3 music system deck can play it... if it's created as a music cd then any cd player can play it....just like any music cd that u buy in the mkt...
a 700 mb disk can hold almost 7 to 10 hrs of music in mp3 format....
but a music disk can hold only 80 mins of music

Audio cassette to cd converter

What you will want to do is get a patch cable. It is cable that has a headphone jack on each end. You will plug that to your line in on your computer. Then you can use any software of your choice to record the tapes to MP3. Then do what you wish from there.
Thanks and enjoy,

Dvd not ejecting

which bise system do you have ?

is it a lifetstyle system with a 6 disk cd changer ?

if so .

the disk being a dvd and being label down is in significant, the real proble is that the cassettte is mechanislly jammed with the disk as a wedge between it and the cd player part.

dissasembly of head unit may be required if you cant jam something into the cassette unit and forceably remove it. okay your disk may be scratched and the cassette may even be damaged, you could even try driving a screw into the cassette on the left hand most side to give you a bit of something to lever with. but that is your only option. a new cassette will probably be required. and dissasembly is likely especially if it feels like forcebaly removing the cassette will leave bits of broken cd player or dvd disk inside the head unit.

i should point out that if it is not a cd 20 model with a 6 disk cd cassette, do not attempt to do as i have mentioned above.

in either event i can't warranty your actions as a result of my suggestion. but i can safely assure you that a bose shop will definately get it fixed for you, and you can probably contact bose direct yourself who will definitley fix it for you. for how much howevr i am not sure.
you could alsway decide to scrpa the head unit and invest in a second hand one sourced on the internet.

sorry for your troubles, but i know how you feel when my kids insert fist fulls of coins into my car cd player. !!!!
