Really, the only way to troubleshoot this problem is to connect your display to another computer and see if it functions; then connect your computer to another display and see if it functions. Once you have determined which unit isn't working correctly, you can proceed from there.

My mac computer screen is flicking almost like it jumping help

Try to hook an external monitor. If it still persists, then the problem will be the videocard. If not, then you''ll just have to replace the lcd of your computer.

My powerbook g4 screen is black what can I do?

Try restarting, if still not picture, then try hitting function key + F5 at the same time. Some laptops have a little icon the key that looks like a monitor as well.

If not try hooking up your laptop to a regular computer monitor and see if you can get a picture and fix the problem that way.

My sreen powers of my desktop

Check your pins at the connector.  I had a problem like that before and it was a student who unplugged the cable and tried to reconnect but bent 2 pins which shorted out the computer and monitor.  If that isn't noticable try connecting the monitor to another computer or laptop and if it still does the shorting issue then its in the monitor cable or board on the monitor.

No monitor works on my G4 Power Mac

Hi,
If no monitor works on your Mac, but the machine is booting, the only assumption I can draw from this is a faulty display card.
Try another display card and see if this helps.

Kids tiped tower over. no start.

You've probably thought of this, but make sure the fall did not disconnect the cable that connects the tower to the monitor.
