Hi. I think the problem on your machine is the RAMS if you here the beeping sound. I would suggest that you remove the memory and clean the contact points with an eraser but make sure that you remove all the receduces and also make sure that when you plug them back you should double check if they are properly seated. If you still having the same issue after doing the troubleshooting step then try a known good memory so that you could make sure that the problem is not with the memories you have.

Most computers do beep _ONCE_ to indicate that the POST (Power On Self Test) has _SUCCESSFULLY_ completed, and that the computer is about to start to "boot" from your disk-drive. Remove any CD-disks and USB-devices and 3.5" diskettes.
