Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (BIOS)
CMOS setup is the settings, for the motherboard, you get into before the PC boots into windows.
Usually by pressing F1, F2, or Delete during system startup.
What is the make and model of your PC and what sort of problems are you facing?
I started researching your problem and here's what I found so far.

I tried F1,F2 or the delete button and still have these problems. When i do hit either one the numbers 301 comes up and still has same issues. Thanks
I have IBM thinkpad 600X. As soon as i turn on my laptop it gives error message 161 and 163 then a screen pops up saying ERROR.. i have to either push ok or ignore . If i do either then i get to another screen that says OFF / ON i can't do anything really but i hit tab button 3 x then i have to turn it on. When i turn it back on for the most part it will start up windows.
I am thinking of just crashing the laptop and just reload windows xp.
Do you know how i can crash it?
