Utility Recovery tool doesn't work.

When I turn on my YH-820 it says to connect to the PC and start the Recovery Utility to rebuild the database, and I do this, but the program says that nothing is connected.
This is really beginning to anger me.

my device is connected and everything but when i open music studio it says to connect the device when it already is.this also happens with recovery utility. oh yeah i have windows vista by the way so if that is the prob plz tel me.

hope someone knows how to solve this prob. =]

You can download the firmware from below website
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_ia_cd=03040100&prd_mdl_cd=&prd_mdl_name=YH-820MC
Select Start > Programs > YH-820 Samsung Music Studio in the desktop,and then press [Recovery Utility].

You will get the below box and can upgrade your firmware

Hi, in my opinion1) rebuild your music album by music studio, 2)rebuild music database structure if first step not solve. using samsung yh-925 utility download from http://www.samsung.com/us/support/download/supportDown.do?model_nm=YH-925GS&mType=SW&vType=L&disp_nm=YH-925GS 3) update your device firmware if two steps fail.
