Firstly check the fuse box of the car and check the radio fuse

then check the fuse in the back of the radio ( if there is one)

if they are all ok then
inplugg the radio and check using a voltmeter if you are getting the correct voltages in the plug

red should be 12v
yellow should be iggnition
black ground

Factory radio wont work

Make sure the wires for the new radio are color to color when installing it in your vehicle aka the wires behind the CD player. Make sure all of them have connectors not the black tape cause it will melt and could cause a fire.

Are you sure the crank pulley is turning the belts ?
Thats about the only thing that would affect both belts.

sound like dead battery,either alternator faulty or alternator drive belt could be loosen need adjusting or drive belt broken.

Did the engine stops?
Sounds like your battery died and the alternator stop charging the battery?
Did you try to restart the engine?
