Problem is not screen joanne. its your keypad. you have to replace the keypad and your touch will work again. buy original keypad only. tested by me.

its either ur LCD touch srceen is damaged or its in d software...
try to update ur phone using the "sony ericsson update service software" it can be downloaded in www.sonyericsson.com..
if it doesnt work.. ur LCD touch screen is fucked up.. bring it to sony ericsson service center...

Try turning off the phone,then taking out the battery. Replace the battery and it will force a reset on the phone,

take the battery off for 15 seconds and try to put it back again. goodluck
