I have lost the original remote for my LiteonVHS/DVD Model LVC 9006 and have purchased a Universal remote but I need the code. The Universal Remote is an RCA product. The trouble is, I can't find the Lite On product listed anywhere that codes are listed.

You most likely will not be able to find a code for it because it is an off brand (not-so-well known brand) and most universals will not have codes for that brand. if your universal remote doesnt have codes for the Mintek brand or has them and they dont work then, sorry that remote will not work for you. you will need to try and get a different one. or try and get the original remote. you can try finding the original remote at ReplacementRemotes.com by typing in the model of the Mintek DVD player. or you can try Ebay.

if you have a user manual with the remote, there should be a scan function. i.e ABC 1 will search for the first digit.
