one of your speakers is blown and shorting out your deck. disconnect one sspeaker at a time and when it starts working fine you know that's the blown one.

colors for sspeakers on an aftermarket radio? solids are positive and black stripes are negative. whites are front eft, greys are front right, green is rear left, and purple is rear right

That is not a full blown sound speaker and is these simply for the beeps you mention.

Real sound is generated by the sound card.

The GREEN port on the back is where you plug your speakers in but you also have to install the drivers for the sound card itself

get the "nissan to kenwood" factory converter harness available at best buy. but if you don't want to pay best buy prices, go to a local mega mall or swap-o-rama, and go to radio and sounds spot there

it sounds like the headphones shorted out the usb on your system, you might try some speakers that are not usb and see what you come up with,,,also check and make sur your sound isnt muted on the master control for the volume

you have wires grounding out at the back of the unit. i suggest trying to completely rewire it and see how that works. its easy if youve never done an install so dont sweat it. email me if you have any questions.

disconnect all speaker leads at the unit,power it up then see if it'll stay on. if it does, reinstall one speaker lead at a time until it goes into protect mode. that speaker line will probably have a short in it. Just run a peice of skr wire straight from the unit to the sspeaker in doubt, hooks em up see what happens. if it shuts down have that skr ckd.if it works, just rip out the old shorted line and run new stuff.
