Technika TV Tuning Problems

Yesterday my Technika TV worked fine with its built in freeview. However today it has lost all of the channels. Any Ideas? It appears that the TV does not recognise that an aerial is plugged in now. Nothing has changed. Thanks.

Hi the same happened to mine. a22inch freeview dvd.wont pick up a signal when tuning in.Its had very little use ( 150hrs ish) as its in our caravan. we now plug in a separate freeview box via the scart.Tesco dont want to know as it was 3months out of warranty at the time of complaint.Anyway Im meeting Tesco in County court in july. It appears to be a common fault

Tesco s crumbled at the court door and agreed to mediation, then paid up.

Easy, just scan the channels again. dont forget we switch to digital. two scans are needed throughout april. then you should be fine.

I've had exactly the same problem. The channels have disappeared, and no amount of retuning has fixed the problem. I have also double checked the aerial socket and I know it's not an external issue. Seems ridiculous to have to resort to a separate freeview box, but I can't see another solution. My tv is only just over a year old, so of course, is out of warranty, and it appears Tesco don't give any room for manoeuvre. Shame, it seemed like a good deal when I bought it, but I guess you get what you pay for....

I Have a 15inch acoustic solution telly with built in freeview model number astv15id , however it has lost most of the freeview channels how do i retrieve them back.

Go into main menu set up and navigate to option to rescan. (might be called install or re-install stations)
Note - if it has lost channels it may be due to poor signal quality - check the quality of your aerial connections. You may also have lost channels if your area has recently been subject to 'digital switch-over' . Although they are already on digital tv all Freeview boxes will need re-tuning after switch over because this entails a change of some channel frequencies post analogue.

go into source and change it onto dtv and do a fti on the unit otherwise to get back to bt digital go into source and change to scart/av/ext if no effect try a new scart lead, if is connected via hd, go into source and change to hdmi this should change it,
