My jvc kw-avx710 video is not playing... i looked at the trouble shooting and i found i need to connect the light wire to the parking brake. but i need to know what wire do i connect the light green wire...

You could just simply hook up a small switch so that the unit "sees" a constant ground. You will more than likely have to do some sort of combination in order for this to work. If you look in the manual, it should show you the correct combination. Instead of using the parking brake, you would use the switch. It might be possible to wire it directly to your ground wire. The thing to know with these methods is that you cannot drive around while watching.

There is no video on my kenwood ddx8017, why? Do i have to bypass the parking break wire? which one is it, the solid green, or red with black, or pink?

If you want to watch videos on your unit it is necessary to bypass the parking brake wire from the Kenwood unit. The parking brake wire is light green and the best possible way to bypass the unit is by installing a toggle switch. The toggle switch should be a two wire device. Connect one wire to ground and the other wire to the parking brake wire from the unit. This will allow you to switch the supply on the wire to ground when needed.
Also, in some older Kenwood units you could just as easily connect the parking brake wire to ground and be done with it but, it does not always work.

XDVD700 Car DVD Player: I'M TRYING TO FIND BYPASS CODE?...

You do not need a bypass code. Pull out the stereo unit, take the parking brake wire and disconnect it from the parking brake sensor ground. Reconnect it to the radios ground wire and this will tell it that the vehicle is always in park and your videos will work while driving. It must be the stereos ground not just grounded to the frame or something. Must be a live source ground wire.
