In the Infocus IN1 G300-WW projector the problem won't turn on, is not with the lamp or configuration, it is the Power button that internally breaks a plastic tab and does not make contact at the ignition point, you just have to disassemble the upper plastic, look for the plastic part of the Power and put glue on it so that it is the same as the other volume and light contacts. The projector is reassembled, it is connected and the Power is pressed, so it should turn on and give the image. This fixes the Infocus IN1 G300-WW won't turn on problem
Replace the bulb

Contact the manufacturer for a firm ware upgrade. My two brother in laws/sisters own this same pj and had the same issues you are talking about. Once they installed the update [aka: firmware upgrade]it created a solution to the problem.
Let me know how it goes. They can either mail you a CD, direct you to where on their website, otherwise email you the update to download. You have to connect your pj as well.
Let me know how that goes. I'm fairly confident that will fix it. There was a certain time frame [manufacturer dates], and serial numbers that had these issues.

Hello,
On the projector you will see 2 buttons for adjusting the brightness, with the projector on press both the brightness up and down at the same time.
Hold them both pressed for 10 seconds. This will reset the lamp timer.
Take Care!

Sounds like you have the video and audio plugged into different inputs. For example the video is going to video 1 and the audio is going to the audio input of video 2
If you get only video one input and only audio on another input... Then the above described connection is the only thing that would cause this to happen!
Cheers
